What you get with this offer is a Hughes torque converter the adapter bushing still inserted. Folks have bid before reading and only after buying, they then go back read the complete. Now for the tricky part. So, this converter can be run in a Ford c-4 trans with 26-spline input shaft or any c-6 transmission.

However, I was using this converter in my c-4 transmission with 26-spline input shaft. What you see in the picture. This converter was fully operational when I removed it.

This item is sold as-is. It would be less stall for smaller cubic inches and or engine torque. Performance automatic transmission input shaft adapter bushing pa26440 adapts Ford c-4 26-spline shafts to all c-6 transmissions.

Pro comp, 4500 stall, fits Ford c w 31 spline, bolt pattern, If you don't have the money, please bid. It stalled at approximately rpm behind my 393w and slicks. However, I am human can make mistakes.

Hughes converters are red, but for some reason, silver paint seemed to be attractive at the time of installation. Simply remove the bushing from converter and you can run it in c-6 or leave place a c-4.
